Concept and design for the Renault Pangea, a concept-car developed to preview the 1st generation Renault Kangoo van, embodied with an expressive design to emphasize the new van's large interior space.

 

The Renault Pangea is a scientific and environmental exploration vehicle, with an integrated trailer to provide an independent power source for the electric-LPG hybrid drive unit.

The concept-car featured a pop-out satellite antenna dish, a roof-mounted skylight with a panoramic camera, integrated fold-down emergency aid + tool kits, and a built-in winch on the front bumper.

 

The Renault Pangea was presented at the 1997 Geneva motor show, in Switzerland.
