Widebody kit design for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, for London-based luxury tuner ONYX Concept Ltd.

 

Designed and built to add a more unified, exquisite and updated style to the classic “G-wagen”, the G7 design and build process went from design concept ideation through surface modelling in Alias™ made over a 3D scan of the real car to 3D-printing of master parts to make the composite production tools.

 

Mercedes Onyx G7's are mostly V8 twin-turbo 563bhp versions, and can be spotted in London, Dubai, Johannesburg, Zurich and Hong-Kong.
